- Percentage Breakdown:
20% - Quarter and Mid-term Exams
- Notes on Assignments:
- Quiz grades will be comprised of announced as well as unannounced or "pop" quizzes.
- Tests are mainly essay/short answer/word problem type tests. This will not be true for the quarter and mid-term exams, which will be multiple choice.
- Pre-labs are checked for experiments, which involve the use of Bunsen Burners or other precautionary materials.
- Some assignments will comprise the development of power point presentations and photo stories.
(Unexcused absences result in a grade of zero. Guidelines for excused/unexcused absences are in the school and parish handbook)
- Students are responsible for getting missed assignments from the makeup folder and fellow classmates. They are also responsible for turning in their work on time. There is an assigned bin for makeup work by the printer as well as a sign-in sheet.
- Students who miss a lab experiment must complete an alternative assignment given by the teacher. They must also present their pre-lab write-ups with the make-up assignment to get full credit.
